Reoptimize Systems successfully delivered a high-impact optimisation project for a leading UK wind farm owner, helping unlock the full performance potential of recent blade upgrades.

• Within just one week, REOS developed a high-fidelity aeroelastic and controller model, using advanced wind speed estimation directly from turbine control parameters. This allowed rapid and accurate assessment of turbine behaviour post-upgrade.
• Our analysis revealed a critical issue: despite the blade enhancements, turbines were operating below optimal performance due to misaligned control settings.
• By combining SCADA data analysis retrieved at 1 Hz with detailed simulations, REOS identified that key control elements - such as the Wind Speed Estimator and TSR tracking - were affected by the rotor enhancement.

REOS worked closely with the Client to define corrective actions, enabling the OEM to implement a control update successfully.
