Reoptimize Systems appoints renewable energy leader Dr Mike Anderson as its new board Chair
Reoptimize Systems, a leader in optimizing wind turbine performance, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Mike Anderson as its new Chair of the Board. Mike brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the renewable energy sector and will play a critical role in positioning Reoptimize Systems for continued growth and innovation.
Mike is a renowned figure in the renewable energy industry, having co-founded RES (Renewable Energy Systems Group), the world’s largest independent renewable energy company. He served as Group Technical Director at RES from its inception in 1982 until his retirement in 2017. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in advancing global renewable energy initiatives and delivering clean power around the world.
Mike currently serves as the Chair of The European Technology & Innovation Platform on Wind Energy (ETIPWind) and holds several non-executive director positions in leading wind energy companies. His extensive expertise and strategic insights will be invaluable as Reoptimize Systems continues to drive advancements in wind turbine performance.
Reoptimize Systems offers a data-driven platform to fine tune turbines to optimize the power curve and extract more clean energy. The solution reduces downtime and achieves on average a 3% annual energy production increase as extending asset life by minimizing loading on turbine towers.
